Harry H. Corbett (28 February 1925 – 21 March 1982) was an English actor, best known for his role as Harold Steptoe in the BBC television sitcom Steptoe and Son.
Early Life and Career: Born in Rangoon, Burma (now Myanmar), Corbett was orphaned at a young age and raised in England. He initially worked in various jobs before pursuing acting. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).
Steptoe and Son: Corbett achieved widespread fame for his portrayal of Harold Steptoe in Steptoe%20and%20Son, alongside Wilfrid Brambell as his father, Albert.
